Matched to the specification
Lessons follow the current AQA specification, and we keep on top of changes as they're published. Our resources come from A-level psychology working teachers and examiners, so students know exactly what is expected of them directly from the source.
Understanding, not just revision
While flashcards and revisiting the content are part of revision, we spend extensive time on why a study was designed the way it was, what its limitations actually mean, and how topics link up. That's what earns students the top band marks and brings them one step closer to achieving their target grade.
Exam technique
Understanding psychology and delivering a good exam performance under timed conditions are separate skills. We teach students how to structure their answers, what command words are asking for, and how to manage their time effectively when completing a paper. Students practise on past as well as predicted papers.
Focused where it's needed
Every student's weak spot is different — research methods, information retention, or fluency in written communication. We identify it early and spend the time there. Progress is checked regularly, so students and parents know where things stand and where efforts must be targeted towards.
